My Journey with Breast Cancer

Welcome Everyone to my Blog!

Hope that you all enjoy reading my Blog. I started this in 2010 when I first found out that I had Breast Cancer. I thought that it would be a way that I could keep friends/family updated. I hope that it will be of some help to others, maybe encourage others, maybe answer questions for some going through it, but most of all I want it to Glorify the Lord!

This informaton below was taken from today's Proverbs 31 ministries post.

We all complain about what we don't have, but we all need to look at how blessed we are and be glad that even though it may be high we have a utility bill to pay, because that means we have a home to live in.
Let us all be alert to the needs of others and even though we may have to help someone in a small way we need to still be available for the Lord to use us in great and mighty ways. He will make what small gifts we have to offer large in the eyes of those that need it.

Reflect on Proverbs 31:20, “She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.” (NIV)

If I take an honest inventory of “my” belongings, do I really need four sets of towels? Do I need to stop for my special coffee this morning? Do my kids truly need that many Christmas presents this year? Who could benefit if I say “no” to any of these questions?

Power Verses:
Acts 2:44-47, “All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (NIV)

Matthew 25:45, “He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’” (NIV 1984)

Just some thoughts for today!!!

Had a wonderful day at church today. Great service with Pastor Jonathan preaching on the Thorns that we have in our life. Everybody has them, but are we going to let them continue to stay with us, some may be for life, but God has always promised us that even though we have Thorns, he will be with us to get us through them. Don't let your thorns continue to take over your life from day to day.

Also, just baking some pumpkin muffins to take to our Life group tonight. I love pumpkin muffins, yummy.

Tonight HGTV is having the Largest Yard Sale show at 8. I love watching that. Jay and I always say that we are going to do that one of these days.

Another Great website is the TasteofHome.com. I love that and the Cooking school is coming to Danville in November, I think?
Going to work more on our business information for our training for our team. We really want to see our team excell in their businesses and Jay and I are going to try and do all that we can to help them.

Okay everyone, see you tomorrow.

I want to remember the families of Linda Barley and Linda Davis. These ladies both went home to be with the lord this week. Linda Barley is Gayle Burnette and Dale Chaney's mom. I have known Linda since I was little girl and Linda Davis owned the little Antique Shop in Brosville Green Gables. She is also kin to Meghan Setliff.
Good Morning Everyone,

Haven't posted in a bit. I have been sooo busy with things and with our #FHTM business. God is truly blessing us with this and expanding our territory. We have met so many nice people through this business and it offers such a hope for people who will work it. (Future Hope To Many)- that is what I call it.

On another note, I love finding new websites and other tips, helpful hints and grocery shopping suggestions. In the All You Magazine, which is a wonderful magazine with alot of coupons, they have a grocery shopping site link that will show you all of the current stores with the sales going on. And you can make a shopping list and print it out before going to the store to shop. Allyou.com/grocery Also Home Made Simple has a wonderful site too with a lot of tips and things to help around the house. Ladies, for those of you who are not familiar with the magazine Real Simple, you should pick one up today. I have been getting this for several years now and I enjoy it so much. It has a lot of household things in it that every lady needs to know. And in the All you magazine there is a $1.00 off coupon.

Just an update on my health situation. About a month ago, my CA 15 test came back with my numbers elevated a bit. My doctor was afraid that some of the fluid from the primary spot in my breast had leaked into a lymph node under my chest wall that they could not take out. So he ordered a CT Scan, which came back NORMAL with nothing in any of my Vital organs or lymph nodes, then he ordered a Bone Scan with also came back NORMAL.

I am Giving Jesus ALL of the Praise for this healing, because I know in my heart that if there was anything there that he removed it!!!! My doctor says that we will do Blood work again in December and if the numbers are still up, we will do the test again, but it may be that My Normal for numbers is just a little higher than for others.
But I know who did it all and who will continue to take care of me!!!!

Hope you all have Great Weekend and enjoy this weather and the beautiful trees!!!

And put a smile on someones face today and speak Positive words into their life. Remember the Law of Attraction!!
