Concert

Last night, some of my friends and I went to the free concert at Thomas Road by Steven Curtis Chapman.  It was so good and he was such a blessing.  I love that church and all that it does for people and how it wants to serve so much.  I heard the comment about trbc, that we have to earn the right to be heard, and trbc has definately earned that right.  They do so much and I am so grateful and blessed to be a part of such an awesome ministry.  I had been reading Marybeth Chapmans book but hadn't finished it, so I went back to reading it today.  What a blessing they are.  They have been through so much.  God does require more from people when he gives you so many blessings.  We have talents from God so that we can bless and be the hands and feet of Jesus.  But he will always give you the strength and the ability to get through and do whatever he wants you to do!  #BeBlessed

Service

Wow, haven't posted in a while, but I had a very rewarding event this weekend. Our Life Group that Jay and I lead at our church wanted to do a Service project. So one of our ladies suggested that she had a friend that was dire need of help moving things from her home. She is going to lose it on foreclosure soon if she can't sell it. So about 10 of us went over and moved everything out and cleaned for her. It looked so good. She has been very depressed and hadnt done anything for about a year. We are going back this week to mow grass as soon as it dries up.
She talked about how much of a blessing that was to her and I am sure it was, but it was so much more for me!

New Year New Beginnings!

Well we are off to another new year, 2012. Can you believe it? Where in the world did last year go. Even though I did go through alot, it all seemed to go so fast. Thanking you Lord for getting me through.

Jay and I are trying to focus only on the positive things in life. Staying away and not speaking the negative. It's hard sometimes when you have to deal with negative people that only want to talk about what's wrong with stuff and what's wrong with this or that. They always try and pick out the worst in people instead of the good. I seemed to get really fretted with people and probably the worst is some of the ones on Facebook. I really need to try and start weening myself off of that mess. It is truly an addiction. And as the news is reporting, it is breaking up marriages, friendships, etc. and causing so much friction between people. It seems to be a place where you can go and just say whatever against anyone that you want to. I am probably also quilty of that because I do voice my opinion at times. Although I try to do it in a positive light. Its gotten to where you really can't say much of anything because someone is Always going to have a Comment, whether it is positive or negative. So I guess my best bet is to just say nothing. The Lord tells us to speak positive because when we speak negative that will give Satan a strong hold and he will take it and run with it. We are speaking our future. If you complain, you remain, if you Praise, you Raise!!!


Our FHTM Business is doing Great. God is blessing us greatly with that and we have met so many new people. So many Christian People are in this business and the founder, Paul, is a true leader with Christian standards. I get really fretted with people who get in this business and expect it to be a Get Rich Quick thing, which it is not, it takes time to build residual and build the business. And then they get mad when the income doesn't come fast enough for them. They all want it NOW. Nothing in life is like that. It amazes me how people will go to school for years for an education and then never get a job, but they won't stay in this business long enough to build it and see the outcome of it.

Anyway, I am sure that you all don't want to hear me continue with that Rabbit Trail, so I will say, Goodbye for now.
